How many people can you serve: How many pumpkin seeds can you eat man!
Seeds Ingredients:
One Pumpkin…or 10 Pumpkins…again…how many seeds can you eat?
Kosher Salt
Symphony of Seasonings Grilling Rub from Sweet Life Sauce Company
BooDreaux’s Cajun Rocket Fuel hot sauce from Sweet Life Sauce Company
Directions:
This is a KID friendly recipe so be sure to get them involved. Carve your pumpkin, scoop out the seeds and get them cleaned up and washed. Remove the excess water on the seeds by placing them in a kitchen towel and wringing the towel.
Separate the seeds into two different piles. The first pile is for the traditional salted Pumpkin Seeds. Sprinkle Kosher salt on this pile and place them in a single layer on a baking sheet that has been coated with a light coating of oil or no stick cooking spray.
Sprinkle Symphony of Seasonings Grilling Rub on the second Pile. Take half of these seeds and place them on the baking sheet with the salted seeds. For the pile that is left behind, douse them with BooDreaux’s Cajun Rocket Fuel hot sauce…pour it on and coat them well.
Place these on the baking sheet with the others and put the sheet into a 350 degree preheated oven for 15 minutes. Check for
doneness by the color…a lightly browned exterior on the seeds will indicate they are done. If you like them a little crunchier…leave them in for a another few minutes.
Turn the heat off on the oven, remove the seeds and let them cool off on the countertop.
Time for you to enjoy!
All will be well in the land!
