Grilled Shrimp pegged with Garlic...tossed with Sweet Life and Spice of Life BBQ Sauce

Prep Time: Plan on 30 minutes getting the shrimp prepared...including the marinating time.
Cooking Time on the Grill: Don't overcook...10 to 12 minutes will be plenty. Low indirect heat.
Total prep and cooking time to amaze your friends and family (also known as hanging out time and impressing time): WOW...maybe like a whopping 30 to 40 minutes.
Experience Level needed to pull off WOW Factor: Absolutely no experience needed....a pure grilling novice can pull this one off.
How many people can you serve: I can pound about 10 of these things down without even blinking and eye...I watched my brother in law inhale almost 20 of 'em over Thanksgiving. Plan on the same happening at your gig. Make sure you have enough to share with all. These will make people who don't normally eat shrimp...start eating shrimp.

Shrimp Ingredients
Get enough fresh shrimp, either right from the Gulf of Mexico, dipped over in Oak Hill, or from your local grocery to make a good heaping pile to serve to your family and friends. Use 16 to 20 Count Shrimp...which means there are 16 to 20 shrimp per pound. You could absolutely go with some larger shrimp but I wouldn't go much smaller.
You'll need some Olive Oil...your favorite...we love a local stores Moroccan. It has a wonderful walnut finish...goes great with Grilled shrimp and adds layers of flavor to the dish.
Symphony of Seasonings Grilling Rub from Sweet Life Sauce Company...which you can get right here on our site.
Stuffing Ingredients
Garlic...fresh garlic.
Directions

Prepare your shrimp for the grill by getting them all pegged with garlic first.
Simply grap a toothpick or skewer and insert it into the top of the shrimp to create a pocket into which you can peg the garlic.

Peg a piece of garlic into each shrimp.
Be sure that the garlic is completely buried in the shrimp.

Once you have all of the shrimp pegged with Garlic, place them in a bowl with your favorite Olive Oil and spinkle Symphony of Seasonings Grilling Rub on them.
Lightly toss the shrimp in the bowl and let them marinate in this spice infused mixture for a few minutes.
You are just about ready to take these to the grill!

Place the marinated shrimp on your pre-heated grill on low indirect heat.
Shrimp cook quickly on the grill so keep close to them and don't go much more than 10 to 12 minutes or you will have little shrimp flavored pieces of tree bark on your grill....not good.
The pic to the left...not tree bark.
Remember that even when you take the shrimp off the grill...they will still continue to cook for a minute or two as they cool off.

Take them off the heat and toss them in a bowl with some Sweet Life BBQ Sauce and some Spice of Life BBQ Sauce.
Simply put out on your favorite serving platter and watch your friends and family inhale them.
ENJOY!
